Job summary

PPM Medical Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory/Material Planner to support stock control and purchasing activities.

You will monitor regular stocks, replenish when minimum levels are reached, issue blanket POs for local and overseas customers, and track shipments to ensure timely delivery. Proficiency in ERP and MS Office is required, along with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related Business field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in material planning or inventory control.
• Proficient in MS Office; basic ERP knowledge.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication; team player.

Responsibilities

• Monitor stocks and replenish when at minimum order level.
• Follow up on shipment tracking.
• Issue blanket POs as per orders from local and overseas customers.
• Ensure that all purchase orders are issued to the correct supplier with the correct date and quantity.
• Follow up on damaged or rejected merchandise.
• Input supplier delivery order goods into system.
• Update ETA dates of shipments into system after supplier acknowledgment.
• Ensure incoming shipment documents are received from suppliers.
• Verify quantity in shipment invoices with physical counts and file them.

• Follow up on shipment tracking
• Issue blanket PO's as per orders from local and overseas customers
• Ensure that all purchase orders are issued to the correct supplier with the correct date and quantity
• Follow up on all damaged or rejected merchandise,
• Input supplier delivery order goods, receive into system
• Update Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) dates of shipments into system by getting email acknowledgment from supplier for receipt of Purchase Orders
• Ensure incoming shipment documents are received from suppliers
• Ensure quantity in shipment invoices tally with quantity in physical count forms and file them together

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Engineering or a related Business field
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in Material planning or Inventory control related
• Basic knowledge of ERP systems
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills
