Job summary

DAVISCOMMS (S) PTE LTD is seeking a coordinator to manage production schedules and ensure material availability in Singapore. You will maintain ERP data, perform warehouse transfers when needed, and coordinate with CM and suppliers to monitor progress and resolve bottlenecks.

The role requires a Diploma in Engineering/SCM/Logistics, 1–2 years in sourcing electronics/mechanical components, Mandarin proficiency, and strong PC skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering, SCM, Logistics or related disciplines.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of MRP preferred.
• 1–2 years experience in sourcing electronics and mechanical components.
• Good communication and PC skills; ability to work under pressure.
• Must be able to converse in Mandarin with Chinese suppliers.
• Singaporean or PR only; able to start on short notice.
• Some store and logistics management exposure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production schedule with sales orders and materials availability.
• Manage data in ERP and generate accurate production data.
• Perform warehouse transfers if required.
• Coordinate with CM for progress, escalate bottlenecks or delays.
• Report operation and production order completion per CM progress.
• Conduct inventory auditing and adjustments for production dropouts.
• Release purchase orders based on MRT reports and follow up with suppliers.
• Collaborate with QA and suppliers on quality issues.

Job description

JOB SCOPE:

• Work with CM and internal team on production schedule based on sales orders and materials availability.
• Data Management & ERP, Generate and maintain accurate production data inside ERP system.
• Warehouse transferring if required.
• Coordinate with CM for progress monitoring, escalating issues if any bottleneck or delay identified.
• Report operation and production order completed according to CM progress
• Inventory Auditing including any adjustment due to production drop out.
• Releasing purchase order based on MRP report and following up with suppliers on delivery schedule are required sometimes
• Work with factory’s incoming quality check department and suppliers on quality related issues.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistic or related disciplines.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of MRP is preferred.
• Some experience in managing store and logistics activities.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in sourcing of electronics and mechanical components
• Good communication and PC skills required with the ability to work under pressure
• Must be able to converse in Mandarin with Chinese suppliers
• Only Singaporean and PR need apply
• Be able to start work at short notice
