Job summary

ST Engineering is seeking a Material Master Data Manager/Assistant Manager to shape and implement governance for Material Master Data as part of a SAP to ECC to S4/Hana transformation. You will translate governance goals into actionable standards, working with Business Units, IT, and SAP teams to drive adoption and data readiness for go-live.

You will own assigned problem areas end-to-end, operate in ambiguity, and contribute to defining data solutions while ensuring data quality and governance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Supply Chain, Procurement, Mathematics, or a related field.
• At least 5 to 10 years of experience in Master Data, ERP-related work, or project management.
• Can-do attitude and ability to work with ambiguities while prioritizing work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across organizational levels.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills balancing strategy with roadmap goals.
• Strong understanding of methodologies for gathering, analysing, and documenting data governance practices.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment, prioritise tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop a Data Governance Framework and engage stakeholders.
• Define Data Strategy aligning with broad organizational goals.
• Identify critical data elements and assign data owners/stewards.
• Co-design MDM and metadata platform integration with S4/HANA.
• Establish data quality policies, KPIs, and monitoring processes.
• Lead cross-functional Data Forums and data literacy initiatives.
