Job summary

GE Vernova in Singapore seeks a SAP Material Data Specialist to set up and maintain accurate material master data across SAP/Oracle, MES, and PLM systems.

You will drive standardization, own PFEP for parts, and collaborate with IT, PLM, and production to ensure reliable MRP, capacity planning, and data integrity across the end-to-end supply chain.

• Own the global PFEP framework and template for standard parameters at every site to enable reliable MRP execution and capacity planning.
• Partner with PLM engineers to define and maintain enterprise PLM–ERP data strategy and data boundaries across PLM and ERP.
• Approve changes to master data definitions; maintain a change log and impact assessment process.
• Collaborate with Process Engineers to evolve data templates and train global/local users.
• Coordinate with Master Data Governance and Digital Process Excellence to implement standards across digital tools.

Job Description Summary

The SAP Material Data Specialist is in charge to set and update the Material Master data across multiple RVS ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), MES, PLM and drive standardization. The position holder is active as a focal point among IT and other function teams to provide material master data.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Creation and maintenance of material master data, bills of materials, participate in RVS level material master standardization establishing.
• Implementation of changes (ECN, Engineering Change Notice) as well as participation in change boards (CRB/CIB), including old material management & procurement adjustments.
• Key user for SAP and interface between production, IT, and departments
• Optimization of production processes (Lean, efficiency, quality)
• Define and maintain RVS master data standards, templates, and data dictionaries across systems, covering master data required for end-to-end supply chain.
• Own the global Plan for Every Part (PFEP) framework and template, defining the standard parameters for every part at every site to enable reliable MRP execution, capacity planning, and system integration.
• Partner with PLM Principal Engineers, to define and maintain the enterprise PLM–ERP data strategy and digital thread policies for part and material master data, establishing clear system-of-record boundaries across PLM and ERP platforms and supporting multiple platforms and parts mastering approaches by product line and go-to-market strategy.
• Approve any changes to master data definitions used in standards, reporting, or cross-system integrations; maintain a formal change log and impact assessment process.
• Partner with Process Engineers to ensure process standards and master data templates evolve together; develop and maintain global training materials and documentation for both global and local users.

• Collaborate with global Master Data Governance and Digital Process Excellence (DPE) teams on defining and implementing standards across the digital tools
