Job summary

The role requires strong sewing skills, fabric knowledge, excellent customer service, and the ability to work long hours, including weekends and public holidays. Attention to detail and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Tailor.
• Knowledge of fabrics and garment construction.
• Ability to operate a sewing machine.
• Excellent sewing skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Good hand–eye coordination.
• Detail oriented and hardworking.

Responsibilities

• Discuss design, alteration or repair needs with customers to meet specifications.
• Take customers' measurements with a tape measure.
• Record measurements and preferences accurately.
• Attach labels to garments to prevent errors.
• Repair garments (patching, sewing tears, lining, etc.).
• Provide cost estimates for customized garments.
