SG MANPOWER SPECIALIST PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled tailor to deliver precise alterations and bespoke garment creation.

The role involves meticulous sewing, measuring, and crafting clothing to meet customer specifications, including suits and jackets. You will iron/steam finished pieces and ensure top-notch fit and finish for customers in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate possesses strong knowledge of fabric types, excellent customer service, and proficiency with various sewing

Qualifications

Proficient sewing and measuring of clothing.
Able to design/make clothes from scratch for customers (suits, jackets, pants, etc.).
Repair clothes that are damaged or ripped.
Alter garments to fit (shorten/lengthen/tighten/loosen).
Press/steam finished garments for pickup.
Knowledge of various fabric types and how to work with them.
Sew on buttons, zippers, hooks and similar details.
Accurately measure customers for proper fit.

Responsibilities

Sewing and measuring clothing.
Designing and creating clothes from scratch for a customer, such as suits, jackets, blazers, pants and more
Fixing clothes that have been damaged or ripped
Altering clothes to fit better, including making garments shorter, longer, tighter or looser
Ironing and steaming clothes that are finished and ready to be picked up by customers
Knowledge of how to create various types of clothing items
Skills to sew buttons, zippers, hooks and other details on clothing
Ability to accurately measure individuals for proper fit
An understanding of different cloth and material types and how to work with them
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to use different types of sewing equipment and tools
