Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least five years of relevant experience managing academic programmes in tertiary education.
• Experience in marketing and promoting academic programmes, including outreach and engagement activities.
• Exposure to business development, partnership engagement, or corporate relations is advantageous.
• Familiarity with digital marketing ecosystems and platforms, including Chinese platforms.
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work in cross-cultural environments.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
• Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Ensure seamless delivery of the Master of Cities Programme to academic standards and university policies.
• Provide comprehensive student support covering academic matters, immersive learning, and career initiatives.
• Analyse student data and feedback to support programme improvement and inform management decisions.
• Take the lead on designated functional areas within the postgraduate programme team.
• Oversee course outlines, timetable planning, and registration processes with academic departments.
• Communicate course-related information clearly, including student guides and briefings.
• Support faculty with teaching, assessment, and administrative information prior to each semester.
• Monitor student progress, workload, and wellbeing; follow up on enquiries and requests.
• Coordinate mid-semester feedback and consolidate findings for actions.
• Liaise with departments on teaching resources and IT systems.
• Manage examinations and assessment processes, including marks submission and Board docs.
• Participate in outreach to promote the Master of Cities and related programmes.
• Coordinate and organise online and offline outreach events.
• Liaise with corporate partners to support engagement and co-hosted events.
• Track event outcomes and prepare post-event reports.
