Job summary

TALENT-MERGE PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a seasoned marine safety professional to lead daily operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive safe tanker fleet performance.

You will coordinate audits, oversee risk controls, mentor seagoing personnel, and liaise with charterers and terminals to uphold high safety standards.

The role requires a Master Mariner CoC and at least 7 years of shore-based experience, combining strong leadership with decisive problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Master Mariner CoC Class 1 or 2 required.
• Minimum 7 years shore-based experience in marine safety, health, environmental management and compliance for product or chemical tankers.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily marine operations to support safe and efficient tanker fleet performance.
• Coordinate vessel audits, inspections and certifications in compliance with maritime regulations.
• Handle tanker vetting inspections and submissions through the OCIMF SIRE platform.
• Review vessel performance, navigational safety and operational procedures.
• Guide and train seagoing personnel to maintain safety and operational standards.
