Zohorecruit is seeking an experienced Master Mariner to lead shore-based marine safety, health, environmental compliance for tanker operations in Singapore. You will oversee audits, regulatory filings, and safety training.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, liaison with charterers and terminals, and incident investigation to ensure vessel performance and regulatory compliance.

Competenze

• Master Mariner CoC Class 1 or Class 2 required.
• Minimum 7 years shore-based experience in marine safety, HSE and compliance for product/chemical tankers, with seagoing experience as Master.
• Good knowledge of international and local maritime regulations.

Mansioni

• Manage daily marine operations to support safe tanker fleet performance.
• Coordinate vessel audits, inspections and certifications in compliance with maritime regulations.
• Handle tanker vetting inspections and submissions through the OCIMF SIRE platform.
• Review vessel performance, navigational safety and operational procedures.
• Guide and train seagoing personnel to maintain safety and operational standards.
• Monitor maintenance and readiness of cargo-handling and navigational equipment.
• Investigate marine incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Liaise with charterers, terminals, insurers and other stakeholders on marine matters.
• Manage departmental budgets, resources and operational costs.
• Improve safety management procedures and participate in emergency response activities.
