Job summary

JOBER PTE LTD is seeking an experienced carpenter to install foundations, walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs using a range of materials. The role includes framing, door and window installation, scaffolding setup, and on-site measurement and material preparation.

Candidates must read blueprints, follow instructions, and maintain strict safety standards. With 4 years of commercial or residential carpentry experience, you will interpret schematics, handle heavy loads, and possess a Singapore Class

Must be attentive to detail and always alert to ensure safety.

Responsibilities

Installs foundations, walls, floors, ceilings and roofs using various materials.
Fits and installs window frames, doors and trim with level and laser tools.
Erects scaffolding and ladders for working above ground level.
Studies blueprints or plans to prepare layout and determine materials.
Shapes or cuts materials to specified measurements using tools.
Follows safety rules and keeps jobsite safe and clean.
Builds or repairs cabinets, doors and floors using machines and hand tools.
Assembles materials to form frameworks using screws, nails or glue.
Removes damaged parts and repairs or replaces as needed.
Inspects ceilings, tiles, walls and woodwork for damage.
Moves materials around the jobsite as required.
Cleans up worksite debris.
