Job summary

Prudent is seeking a skilled carpenter in Singapore to read blueprints and interpret drawings for furniture, cabinets, doors, and windows. You will measure, cut, and shape wood using hand and power tools, and install structures with precision.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, or instructions to build or repair items such as furniture, cabinets, doors, and windows
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plywood, and wallboard using hand and power tools
• Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, flooring, and trim, using carpenter's tools
• Inspect and replace damaged frameworks or other structures and fixtures
• Follow safety rules and maintain a safe, clean work environment
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradesmen to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Maintain tools and equipment, and ensure they are in good working order
• Perform other related duties as assigned
