Job summary

NTU's Maritime Energy & Sustainable Development Centre of Excellence (MESD CoE) seeks a Project Manager to drive business development and operations, including industry engagement, funding initiatives, and local/international collaborations. You will identify opportunities in low-carbon shipping and ports and build a robust project pipeline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Science, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in developing project concepts, writing proposals, and securing funding.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Centre's business and project development activities, identifying opportunities in low-carbon shipping and ports and building a strong project pipeline.
• Engage industry partners, government agencies, research institutions, and external stakeholders to identify collaboration opportunities and establish strategic partnerships.
• Assist in developing proposals, grant applications, and service agreements, and coordinate commercial collaboration arrangements with local and international partners.
• Support funding and resource mobilisation for the Centre, including securing research grants and industry-funded projects.
• Maintain key partner relationships and provide updates on project progress, opportunities, and new initiatives.
• Support strategic planning, business development reporting, and project portfolio management, including management updates and presentations.
