Job summary

NTU's Maritime Energy & Sustainable Development Centre of Excellence (MESD CoE) invites an experienced Project Manager to drive business development and operations. You will engage industry partners, government agencies, and international stakeholders to build a robust project pipeline in low-carbon shipping and port activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Science, Business Admin, Management or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of project/programme management, business development or industry collaboration experience.
• Experience in energy, maritime, sustainability or technology sectors preferred.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Centre's business and project development activities in low‑carbon shipping and ports, identifying opportunities and building a robust pipeline.
• Engage industry partners, government agencies, research institutions, and external stakeholders to identify collaboration opportunities and establish strategic partnerships.
• Support development of project concepts, research proposals, funding applications, and commercial collaboration arrangements with local and international partners.
• Support funding and resource mobilisation for the Centre, including securing grants, industry‑sponsored projects, service agreements, and other external funding streams.
• Maintain key partner relationships, ensuring proactive follow‑up on progress and new initiatives.
• Support the Centre's strategic planning, business development reporting, and project portfolio management, including management updates and presentations.
• Facilitate the day‑to‑day operations of the Centre with MESD management and research teams to achieve goals.
