Success Port Services is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong marine background to manage cost estimation, tendering, contract administration, and project cost control for marine projects.

Key responsibilities include preparing cost estimates, reviewing tender documents, evaluating subcontractor quotations, and administering contracts. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in marine-related fields and proficiency in Excel.

Qualificações

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related discipline.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in marine, shipbuilding, ship repair, offshore, or marine engineering.
• Strong understanding of contract administration, project costing, and commercial practices in marine industry.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare cost estimates, quotations, and tender submissions for marine projects.
• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and contract requirements for accurate pricing and compliance.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers for costing and procurement.
• Prepare cost breakdowns and BOQs where applicable.
• Administer contracts, including variation orders, progress claims, and final accounts.
• Monitor project progress and costs, maintain cost records, and suggest cost control measures.
• Conduct site visits to verify costs against scope.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers on financial matters.
• Prepare periodic cost reports and commercial updates for project execution.
• Ensure activities align with project specs, contract requirements, and marine industry practices.
