Job summary

RANGOOLI ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a capable Site Engineer to plan, schedule, and coordinate marine projects ensuring on-time execution and vessel seaworthiness.

The role involves maintaining detailed project schedules, liaising with suppliers, and producing progress reports for milestones and deliverables. The ideal candidate has site engineering experience in marine projects and a degree or equivalent in marine engineering management or related field.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent in marine engineering management or related field.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate marine projects with the project team to ensure timely execution.
• Coordinate and manage technical maintenance and drydocking activities to ensure vessel seaworthiness and operational readiness.
• Prepare, maintain, and update detailed project schedules and progress reports to track milestones and deliverables.
• Compile and manage project-related documents including Scope of Job, POs, DOs, subcontractor documents, and execution schedules.
• Liaise with suppliers to maintain strong professional relationships and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Draw up work schedules and communicate adjustments with clients.
• Gather data, compile reports and deliver presentations to stakeholders.
• Delegate tasks and schedule meetings and training sessions as required.
• Complete quality assurance and provide feedback to the team.
• Maintain contact with contractors to ensure work is done correctly, on schedule, and within budget.
• Design and oversee testing, installation, and repair of marine equipment.
• Coordinate activities with regulatory bodies to ensure safe and cost-effective repairs and alterations.

• Maintaining contact with contractors to be sure the work is being done correctly, on schedule, and within budget.
• Designing and overseeing testing, installation, and repair of marine equipment.

Work Experience & Qualification: -

• Generally, prefer site engineer candidates who have some prior experience in a similar role.
