Job summary

Yangtze Marine Engineering Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Project Engineer to support marine service line responsibilities, including accurate reporting, and customized deliverables.

The role involves workshop and vessel work, with strong coordination across ship owners, superintendents, designers, and vendors to meet owner and class requirements. The candidate should have at least 5 years of marine industry experience, be able to work overtime, and demonstrate leadership in managing project operations,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in the marine industry.
• Willing to work overtime.
• Excellent coordination skills are required.
• Ability to work at heights.
• Positive working attitude is essential.
• Experience in dealing with vendors, designers, classification and flag authorities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work in workshop and vessels.
• Communicate effectively with ship owners and superintendents.
• Manage project schedule, operations, and specifications.
• Attend meetings with designers, owners, class, and customers; review technical specs and drawings.
• Coordinate with vendors, designers, classification and flag authorities on engineering issues.
• Honor duties assigned by superiors and explore cost-saving measures.
• Lead project operations and ensure timely delivery and compliance with specs.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Job description

Project Engineer will be under Marine service line, the appropriate quality check, the compilation of accurate and customized results reports and other deliverables.

1. 1. Working in workshop and vessels.
2. 2. Good communication skills with Ship Owners and Superintends.
3. 3. Good time Management and work Independently.
4. 4. Attend and manage dealing with vendors, designers, classification, and flag statutory on engineering issues
5. 5. Reviewing technical specification and drawings from designer meeting owner, class, and customer requirements
6. 6. To perform any other duties & Responsibilities assigned by superiors from time to time.
7. 7. Ability to demonstrate and implement cost -saving measures.
8. 8. Ability to lead to manage project operations, schedule and specifications.
