Job summary

recruitSG in Singapore is seeking a driven Sales Representative (Graduate Trainee) to help grow our marine and technical services business. You will engage with clients, understand their needs, and present tailored solutions across electrical, inspection, and troubleshooting services.

The 6-month traineeship offers hands-on learning and potential conversion to a permanent role based on performance. You should be confident in networking, fluent in English, and self-motivated to hit sales targets

Qualifications

• Prior experience in sales, business development, or client-facing roles is preferred.
• Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
• Comfortable communicating with clients and presenting service offerings clearly.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
• Confident, personable, and able to connect well with clients.
• Self-driven, proactive, and motivated to achieve sales targets.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with clients.
• Incentive bonus might be provided based on performance.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients within the maritime and industrial sectors.
• Engage with clients to understand their operational needs and recommend suitable services or solutions.
• Maintain regular communication with clients to strengthen long-term partnerships and encourage repeat business.
• Identify new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and market research.
• Promote the company’s electrical, inspection, and troubleshooting services to potential clients.
• Support the preparation of quotations, proposals, and service discussions with prospective customers.
• Actively network within relevant industries to expand the company’s customer base.
• Represent the company in meetings, discussions, and client engagements.
• Develop a strong understanding of client requirements and industry trends.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery to clients.
• Coordinate with operations teams to ensure client expectations are met.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and opportunities.
