Job summary

SEVEN SEAS AUTOMATION & NAVCOM PTE. LTD. recruits a ship automation specialist to install, commission, and maintain electrical systems aboard vessels, ensuring safe and reliable operations.

You will work on-site with shipyards, coordinate installation, and train crew on system usage, while producing English reports and emails to document activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, automation, ship and Ocean engineering, or related fields.
• Familiar with ship electrical systems or electrical commissioning.
• Fluent in English (listening, speaking, reading and writing).
• Diligent and hardworking, with strong communication skills, capable of solving problems on the spot, and having a team spirit.
• Adapt to domestic and international business trips. Trips usually 4 to 10 days.
• Candidates with on-site experience in shipyards, debugging ship equipment, or as an electrician are preferred.

• Maintain ship automation equipment systems such as MSB, AMS, VRCS, boiler, gas, etc. maintenance work.
• Independently or collaboratively complete installation and commissioning of automation equipment, including electrical commissioning and internal operation of the equipment.
• Coordinate on-site installation work and assist in supervising the construction party to complete the installation work.
• Complete system commissioning to ensure its normal and stable operation.
• Complete system usage training for crew members.
• Write English reports, emails, etc.

3. Coordinate on-site installation work and assist in supervising the construction party to complete the installation work.

4. Complete the system commissioning work to ensure its normal and stable operation.

5. Complete the system usage training for crew members.

6. Write English reports, emails, etc.

Job Requirements:

College degree or above, majoring in electrical engineering, automation, ship and Ocean engineering, electrical engineering or related fields;

2. Be familiar with ship electrical systems or electrical commissioning;

3. Flu"ent in English listening, speaking, reading and writing;

4. Diligent and hardworking, with strong communication skills, capable of solving problems on the spot, and having a team spirit;

5. Adapt to domestic and international business trips. Business trips usually take 4 to 10 days to rest at home. Not working at the office.

6. Candidates with relevant on-site experience are preferred (such as on-site working experience in shipyards, experience in debugging ship equipment, and experience as an electrician, etc.).
