Job summary

HME Technologies Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to define manufacturing processes and estimates for new project introductions (RFQs). You will design cutting tools and fixtures to assist machining and prepare Process & Manufacturing documentation such as CAD drawings, BOMs, ECNs, control plans, and work instructions.

The role focuses on evaluating processes for quality, efficiency, speed and cost; supporting production troubleshooting; driving continuous improvement;

Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM software and manufacturing process documentation is required.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and API audits, Six Sigma, and lean principles is highly desirable.
• Understanding of machining, welding, heat treatment, and API product specs is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Define manufacturing processes and estimates for new project introductions (RFQs).
• Design and define cutting tool and fixture to assist the machining process.
• Prepare Process & Manufacturing documentation such as CAD Drawings, BOM, ECN, Control Plans, and Working Instructions.
• Evaluate manufacturing processes based on quality criteria, including efficiency, speed, and cost.
• Provide support for production troubleshooting and manage production delays.
• Promote continuous improvement in operational KPIs (Scrap, Efficiency, Cost, Yield, Customer Complaints, Audits, etc.).
• Optimize facility layouts, production lines, machine operations, and network performance.
• Implement cost-reduction strategies while maximizing quality.
• Train staff in both new and existing manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with engineers, programmer, suppliers, and team members to improve processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in all manufacturing procedures.
• Study and upgrade systems and processes with new technologies.
• Offer continuous technical support to manufacturing, resolving operating and engineering issues encountered during production.
• Analyze manufacturing workflows to identify and implement process improvements that boost efficiency and productivity.
• Address and resolve engineering challenges to prevent production delays and minimize defects.
