Job summary

Molex Singapore is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to optimize production, improve yield, and enable smooth transfer of new products into manufacturing. You will work with cross‑functional teams across Operations, Quality, Planning, Maintenance, EHS, Product Engineering, and global partners to drive operational excellence.

You will apply Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, and process control methods, develop robust documentation, and ensure compliance with quality standards while mentoring junior

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in assembly process development, process optimization, or manufacturing troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, SOP/WI, SPC, MSA, DOE, and statistical analysis techniques.
• Experience interpreting technical drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
• Ability to analyze manufacturing data and identify opportunities to improve quality, productivity, and process capability.
• Experience working with manufacturing systems such as MES, SAP, or production reporting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.
• Identify improvement opportunities by analyzing current manufacturing methods and redesign processes to reduce waste and costs.
• Develop process control techniques and simulation methods to ensure stable, predictable, and efficient production.
• Support production to meet schedules by ensuring stable processes and addressing operational challenges.
• Lead or participate in improvement projects (ACT Projects or JDI) and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance process capability and product quality.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and SPC to reduce variation and improve yield.
