Job summary

NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS SINGAPORE PTE LTD is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to help ensure production equipment uptime, perform maintenance, and manage spare parts to support operational excellence in a collaborative environment.

You will work closely with engineering and production teams to maintain product quality, equipment reliability, and process efficiency, performing testing and calibration and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Proficient in equipment troubleshooting, fault diagnosis and maintenance support for resolving mechanical and electrical issues.
Experience in preventive maintenance activities including inspections, servicing, calibration and replacement of wear and tear components.
Working knowledge of PLCs and automation systems to support operation and improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Address production redlights related to equipment/failure and ensure timely recovery of manufacturing operations
Perform preventive, corrective and autonomous maintenance to ensure continuous production operations and improve uptime
Execute in-house testing and calibrations of equipment per procedures and quality standards
Collaborate with vendors and contractors for contract services and projects supporting operations
Manage spare parts inventory, stock replenishment and tracking of critical spares
Drive continuous equipment improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and enhance efficiency
Support production rework activities to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
