Job summary

RECRUIT EXPERT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Maintenance Technician to diagnose faults, perform preventive maintenance, and support manufacturing uptime in a cleanroom environment.

The role requires a Nitec qualification and at least 2 years of experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, with PLC knowledge and a willingness to work a 12-hour rotating shift. You will collaborate with Engineers and document maintenance actions.

Qualifications

• Nitec in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting or a similar technical environment.
• Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
• Must be comfortable working a 12-hour rotating shift.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose equipment faults and carry out corrective repairs to restore equipment performance and minimise production downtime.
• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure equipment remains in good operating condition.
• Work closely with Engineers to investigate equipment-related issues that may affect manufacturing processes.
• Carry out basic equipment checks and follow up on maintenance findings as required.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area in line with workplace safety and cleanroom requirements.
• Record maintenance activities, findings and follow-up actions where required.
