Job summary

CDI Energy Products Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Manufacturing Cell Supervisor to organize people, processes and equipment for balanced, cost-efficient, on-time production of rubber moulding parts.

You will lead a cell, ensure safety, drive continuous improvement with other departments, perform troubleshooting, and train operators on critical setups. The role requires a diploma/degree in manufacturing or mechanical engineering and 5 years in production, with ISO/QMS knowledge and LEAN

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a production environment.
• Experience as a production supervisor or handling operators.
• Good knowledge of ISO and QMS standards (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001, AS9100D, API).
• Experience repairing rubber press moulding machines/process is a plus.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the manufacturing cell achieves maximized productivity on manufacturing throughput
• Promote safe work environment through equipment usage, process design and proper housekeeping
• Involve in continuous improvement in manufacturing processes by working collaboratively with all other departments and cell members
• Perform trouble-shooting for all technical issues during manufacture production orders
• Participate in NCR rework investigation and work with Engineering and cell members to perform corrective action
• Achieve a shorter lead time process flow by working with the in process QC technician
• Train and guide operator for critical setup for rubber moulding parts with reference to manufacturing procedures generated by Engineering instruction
• Ensure all production works followed strictly to each individual Work instruction and provide cross training plan yearly
• Ensure all production machines and equipment are correctly and appropriately used
• In charge of the press mold machines maintenance and provide periodical service by either internally or arrange externally support if needed

About the role

Manufacturing Cell Supervisor responsible for the cell/flow manufacturing of assigned products through the organization of people, processes, manual/machine operations with the goal to optimally balanced the production line with minimal waste, the lowest possible cost, on-time and defect-free products. In charge of a manufacturing product cell line include resources assigned, manufacturing process flow, machines utilization, equipment's maintenance and operators safety at work.

About you

• Diploma/Degree in any discipline on manufacturing or mechanical Engineering


• Minimum 5 years' experience of relevant role in production environment


• Knowledge and experience as a production supervisor or production engineering handling operators


• Good working knowledge of ISO and Quality Management System (QMS) standards, including ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001, AS9100D, and API requirements.


• Having good knowledge of repairing rubber press moulding machines/process


• Good organizational and interpersonal skills


• Good verbal and written communication skills and detailed oriented


• Competent in both written and spoken English


• Ability to comprehend Engineering Drawings, CNC ,Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing is an advantage


• Have experience to promote 6S or LEAN manufacturing knowledge in production area
