Job summary

Airswift Singapore is seeking a Manufacturing Cell Supervisor to lead a production team in a moulding and rubber compound environment. You will organize resources, manage process flow, monitor KPI targets, and ensure safety and quality across the cell.

Responsibilities include executing loading plans, training staff, and driving 5S and Lean initiatives to optimize throughput and OEE. Experience in drawings and GD&T is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in manufacturing or mechanical engineering
• Minimum 5 years' experience in production environment
• Experience in production flow control for rubber compound and moulding
• Experience as production supervisor or production engineering handling operators
• Ability to read engineering drawings; GD&T knowledge is an advantage
• Proficient in MS Office or planning software
• Experience promoting 5S or LEAN manufacturing in production area

Responsibilities

• Organize people, processes, and operations to balance the production line with minimal waste and cost
• Oversee cell line resources, process flow, machine utilization, maintenance, and safety
• Execute a manufacturing loading plan from the master schedule
• Supervise and train manpower within the cell
• Provide support in production technical activities ensuring procedures are met
• Ensure in-process inspections meet quality and timeliness
• Maintain 5S, continuous improvement, and cross-training within the cell
• Achieve cell KPI targets and maintain high team morale
• Ensure cell OEE, GM% and throughput meet KPI targets
• Train and mentor employees aligning with the organization''s core values

Job description

Responsibilities

Responsible for the cell/flow manufacturing of assigned products through the organization of people, processes, manual/machine operations with the goal to optimally balanced the production line with minimal waste, the lowest possible cost, on-time and defect-free products.

To in charge of a manufacturing product cell line include resouces assigned, manufacturing process flow, machines utilization, equipment's maintenance and operators safety at work.

Responsible to execute a manufacturing loading plan reference from the master schedule plan.

To supervise and train manpower to perform the task inside the cell.

To provide support in production technical activities ensuring that all manufacturing procedure are met

To ensure all “In Process” inspection is performed and meeting the acceptance level in required quality and timely manner.

To maintain 5S, continuous improvement and cross training activities within the cell.

To achieve manufacturing cell KPI target, to encourage high working morale in the team.

To ensure cell OEE, GM% and Production throughput are meeting KPI Target.

To train and mentor employees to align their actions and decisions with the organization’s core values

Requirements

• Diploma /Degree in any discipline on manufacturing or mechanical Engineering.
• Prefer to have a minimum 5 years' experience of relevant role in production environment
• Working knowledge of Production flow control regarding to rubber compound and moulding operation.
• Knowledge and experience as a production supervisor or production engineering handling operators.
• Ability to comprehend Engineering Drawings, Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing is an advantage.
• Ability to use MS office or some planning software for assisting planning High mix low volume production.
• Have experience to promote 5S or LEAN manufacturing knowledge in production area.
