Job summary

GLOBALTRONIC BIO-TECH PRECISION (PTE. LTD.) in Singapore seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead a team of engineers and technicians, drive strategic priorities, and partner with plant leadership on capacity and automation roadmaps.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing engineering with 3+ years in management, plus CAD proficiency and ERP/MES experience. Strong cross-functional collaboration and structured problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with at least 3 years in a supervisory/management role.
Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI).
Knowledge of ERP/MES systems for routing and BOM management.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing/process engineers and technicians.
Establish engineering priorities aligned with production schedules, quality goals, and business KPIs.
Collaborate with plant leadership to develop long-term manufacturing strategies (capacity, automation, footprint).
Analyze production data to identify root causes of downtime, defects, or bottlenecks.
Implement standardized work, error-proofing (poka-yoke), and rapid changeover techniques.
Maintain accurate master document, plant layouts, work instructions, and equipment records.
