Job summary

GOAL SETTERZ BUSINESS SOLUTIONS PTE LTD is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to drive BOM management, ECO/ECR processes, and manufacturing improvements for box-build products in East Singapore. You will coordinate with internal teams and contract manufacturers to ensure releases meet approved specs and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering or similar.
• Strong ECO/ECR process knowledge for BOM releases.
• Experience managing contract manufacturers, vendors and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of PLM and revision-control for BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Manage and set up product BOMs for box-build products.
• Liaise with NPI Programme Managers, Engineering teams and contract manufacturers on BOM setup.
• Ensure vendors produce products per approved specifications.
• Perform BOM validation and resolve BOM-related issues.
• Establish manufacturing specs, work instructions and procedures for box-build assembly.
• Drive process improvements with contract manufacturers to resolve issues.
• Manage packaging and labeling designs for mass production.
• Establish testing and validation processes at CM facilities.
• Perform failure analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues.
• Manage Engineering Change Orders and product change-control processes.
• Prepare and maintain First Article Inspection documentation.
• Manage multiple projects, BOMs and product releases concurrently.
• Apply 8D problem-solving methods to resolve manufacturing issues.

MANUFACTURING ENGINEER

Location: East Singapore

Salary: S$4,500-S$7,000 per month, commensurate with experience

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to work collaboratively with internal teams and manage contract manufacturers in the areas of product quality, manufacturing processes and Bill of Materials (BOM).

The successful candidate will manage product BOMs, manufacturing specifications and engineering changes for box-build products while ensuring timely product releases and compliance with approved specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and set up product BOMs for box-build products.


• Liaise closely with NPI Programme Managers, Engineering teams and contract manufacturers on BOM setup and product releases.


• Ensure vendors, subcontractors and contract manufacturers produce products according to approved specifications.


• Perform BOM validation and collaborate with the relevant business teams to resolve BOM-related issues.


• Ensure that manufacturing specifications, work instructions and procedures are established for box-build assembly.


• Drive process improvements and work closely with contract manufacturers to resolve manufacturing and quality issues.


• Manage packaging and labelling designs for mass production.


• Establish testing and validation processes at contract manufacturing facilities.


• Perform failure analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues.


• Manage Engineering Change Orders and product change-control processes throughout the product lifecycle.


• Prepare and maintain First Article Inspection documentation.


• Manage multiple projects, BOMs and product specification releases concurrently.


• Apply structured 8D problem-solving methods to resolve manufacturing and quality issues.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.


• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering, product engineering or a similar position.


• Strong experience in Engineering Change Order management.


• Good knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management and ECO/ECR processes for product BOM releases.


• Strong understanding of PCBA manufacturing processes, BOM structures and revision-control procedures.


• Experience managing contract manufacturers, vendors and subcontractors.


• Knowledge and practical experience in ERP systems.


• Strong knowledge of 8D problem-solving methodologies.


• Good leadership, project management, analytical and communication skills.


• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and ensure engineering changes are implemented promptly.


• Ability to manage multiple projects, product BOMs and specification releases simultaneously.
