Job summary

STAFFKING PTE. LTD. is seeking an engineer to provide daily manufacturing support at our North Singapore facility.

The role focuses on resolving process and production issues to minimize downtime and ensure on-time delivery, with a strong emphasis on root-cause analysis and corrective actions. You will drive Lean initiatives, support changes, and help prepare documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily engineering support to manufacturing operations, resolving process, product, and production issues to minimize downtime and ensure on-time delivery.
• Analyze manufacturing processes, determine root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions to enhance quality, yield, and productivity.
• Drive continuous improvement through process optimization, cycle time reduction, cost reduction, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S initiatives.
• Support engineering change implementation, new product introduction (NPI), product transfers, and manufacturing readiness activities.
• Develop, review, and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flows, SOPs, and technical reports.
• Monitor manufacturing performance metrics and recommend improvements to boost operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Product Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to meet manufacturing and business objectives.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety requirements, and company procedures.
