Job summary

SILTRONIC SILICON WAFER PTE. LTD. is seeking a production line supervisor to lead a team of line leaders and operators. The role focuses on meeting daily output, quality, productivity and yield targets, while ensuring safety and adherence to procedures.

You will conduct daily pass-downs, manage manpower and consumables, and train leaders to enhance performance. This position involves permanent 12‑hour shifts (day or night) in a high-tech manufacturing fab.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Science, Production or IT.
• Experience in high-tech, high-volume manufacturing.
• Willing to work permanent 12-hour shifts (day or night).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of line leaders and operators to hit daily output, quality and yield targets.
• Conduct daily pass-down meetings and escalate line issues as needed.
• Oversee manpower, overtime and consumables planning.
• Ensure manufacturing and safety procedures are followed.
• Coach and train leaders and operators to improve performance.
• Implement improvement ideas to prevent human errors.
• Maintain discipline and housekeeping on the line.
• Coordinate with other departments for projects, evaluations and preventive maintenance.
