Job summary

JointHire Singapore Pte Ltd invites a seasoned Manufacturing/Process Engineering leader to drive performance at our Singapore facility. You will mentor engineers and technicians, set priorities aligned with production schedules, quality goals and KPIs, and shape long-term strategies for capacity, automation and footprint.

You will analyze production data to identify root causes of downtime and defects, implement poka-yoke and rapid changeover, collaborate across functions, and maintain accurate

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing engineering with supervisory/management experience.
• Ability to lead root-cause analysis (8D, DMAIC) and drive corrective actions.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and shop-floor/exec communication.
• Experience translating technical issues for non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency with CAD and data analytics tools.
• Knowledge of ERP/MES for routing/BOM management.

Responsibilities

• Work with Production to resolve daily technical issues and improve throughput
• Partner with Quality to address root causes of non-conformances and implement corrective actions
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and customer communication skills
• Maintain accurate master document, plant layouts, work instructions, and equipment records
• Establish engineering standards for material selection, tolerances, and vendor qualifications

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with at least 3 years in a supervisory/management role
• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI)
• Knowledge of ERP/MES systems for routing and BOM management
• Proven ability to lead technical root-cause analysis (8D, DMAIC)
• Strong communication – able to translate complex technical issues for shop floor and executive audiences
• Decisive under pressure, with a bias for action in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
