Job summary

Qualcomm's Manufacturing Technicians Group in Singapore is seeking an Engineering Assistant to provide technical and engineering support to production, ensuring stable and efficient operations.

You will assist with qualification of new tools, data collection, investigations of returns, and maintain technical documentation. This role involves basic metrology checks and supporting process improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• Proficient with measurement tools and basic metrology equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and engineering support to production to ensure stable and efficient operations.
• Support the disposition of on-hold production lots.
• Participate in qualification and validation activities for new tools, materials, and process changes.
• Assist engineers with Engineering Runs, including process data collection and analysis.
• Support investigations of customer returns and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of technical documentation, including work instructions and process setup sheets.
• Conduct measurements and basic metrology checks in accordance with engineering instructions.
