Job summary

STMICROELECTRONICS PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a Metrology Process Operations Engineer to oversee and optimize metrology on the manufacturing floor, ensuring precise measurement and calibration of tools.

You will create new product recipes for thickness and CD, develop tool crisis plans, collaborate with Production, Process and Equipment owners to mitigate downtime, lead a team of metrology technicians, and support capacity planning and cycle-time improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, materials science, or a related field, or Diploma with 5 years of working experience.
• Experience in metrology process operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of measurement systems, calibration techniques, and industry standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create new product recipes for thickness and CD.
• Develop Metrology tool crisis plans.
• Collaborate with Production, Process and Equipment owners to develop tool downtime mitigation plans.
• Manage a team of Metrology technicians.
• Support and follow-up on activities related to capacity, production moves, and cycle time & out-put.
