Job summary

Capella Singapore is seeking a Manor Culturist to deliver personalized service, coordinate arrivals and departures, and arrange special requests for guests in the Capella Manors.

The role requires a hospitality diploma, luxury-hotel butler experience, excellent communication, multitasking, and knowledge of local attractions and dining options.

You will collaborate with housekeeping and other teams to ensure flawless guest experiences and maintain a warm, discreet approach at all times.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Hospitality or related field.
• Experience as a butler in luxury hotels/resorts.
• Excellent customer service with personalized attention.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of local attractions and dining options preferred.
• Driving licence is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate guest arrivals and departures, including luggage and check-in/check-out.
• Provide personalized assistance and recommendations for dining, transport and activities.
• Anticipate and fulfill guest needs to ensure comfort and satisfaction.
• Maintain communication with guests before, during and after their stay.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure clean, stocked manors.
• Handle special requests and arrangements (in-manor dining, chef services, events).
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies and safety protocols.
• Provide feedback to management to improve guest experiences.
• Perform other Capella Culturist duties when manors are not sold.

Position Overview

The Manor Culturist is responsible for providing personalized service and assistance to guests staying in the Manors at Capella Singapore. From coordinating arrivals and departures to arranging special requests and ensuring guest satisfaction. The Manor Culturist plays a crucial role in creating a perfect curated stay for the guests.

The Role

• Coordinate guest arrivals and departures, including luggage, and facilitating check-in/check-out processes
• Provide personalized assistance and recommendations to guests throughout their stay, including dining reservations, transportation arrangements and activities booking
• Anticipate and fulfill guest needs and preferences, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction at all times
• Maintain communication with guests before, during and after their stay to address any requests or concerns
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure manors are clean, well-maintained and stocked with amenities
• Handle special requests and arrangements for guest, including in-manor dining, chef services and special occasions etc
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols
• Provide feedback and insights to management to enhance guest experiences and improve service standards
• All other Capella Culturists related duties when Manors are not sold

Talent Profile

• Diploma in Hospitality related courses and above
• Experience in butler role in luxury hotels/resorts
