Capella Singapore is seeking an Assistant Manager, Manor Culturist to lead a team of Manor Culturists in delivering personalized guest experiences. You will coordinate arrivals and departures, arrange dining and activity bookings, and ensure guest satisfaction throughout stays.

The role requires strong communication, exceptional customer service, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced luxury resort environment, with a focus on creating a curated, memorable stay for every guest.

Qualifications

• 5 years in butler services supervisory role at luxury hotels/resorts.
• Experience managing a team in luxury hotels/resorts.
• Exceptional customer service with personalized attention.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment; knowledge of local attractions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate guest arrivals and departures, including luggage and check-in/out.
• Provide personalized assistance and dining, transport, and activity bookings.
• Anticipate needs to ensure guest comfort at all times.
• Communicate with guests before, during, and after stay.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance to keep manors stocked.

• Assist with Capella Culturist duties when Manors aren’t sold.
• Assist guests with Valet service when required.

Position Overview

The Assistant Manager, Manor Culturist manages a team of Manor Culturist whom provide personalized service and assistance to guests provided with Manor Culturists at Capella Singapore. From coordinating arrivals and departures to arranging special requests and ensuring guest satisfaction, managing the team of Manor Culturist plays a crucial role in creating a perfect curated stay for the guests.

The Role

Manor Operations

• Coordinate guest arrivals and departures, including luggage, and facilitating check-in/check-out processes
• Provide personalized assistance and recommendations to guests throughout their stay, including dining reservations, transportation arrangements and activities booking
• Anticipate and fulfill guest needs and preferences, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction at all times
• Maintain communication with guests before, during and after their stay to address any requests or concerns
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure manors are clean, well-maintained and stocked with amenities
• Handle special requests and arrangements for guest, including in-manor dining, chef services and special occasions etc
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols
• Provide feedback and insights to management to enhance guest experiences and improve service standards
• Assist with Capella Culturist related duties when Manors are not sold
• Assist guest with Valet service when required

Manage Team

• Review talent capability and develop high potential employees for the department
• Identify training needs of the division and implement a training plan in conjunction with the department heads to close gaps
• Support hotel's overall staff development and retention efforts

Talent Profile

• 5 years in butler services supervisory role at luxury hotels/resorts
• Prior experience in managing a team in luxury hotels/resorts
