Job summary

The Vector Control Operations Division (VCOD) of Public Service Division in Singapore invites an analytical and motivated professional to join the Surveillance and Analysis branch. You will work with surveillance and operational data to monitor vector risks, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable insights for planning and decision making.

Qualifications

Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
Experience processing and visualising large datasets.
Familiarity with Python, R, ArcGIS or Power BI would be advantageous.
Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to stakeholders.
Curious and adaptable, with interest in automation and AI.

Responsibilities

Monitor and assess vector trends using surveillance, inspection, public feedback, enforcement, and other operational data.
Develop surveillance and analytical products such as reports, dashboards, and maps to support situational awareness and operations.
Apply geospatial and quantitative analysis to identify spatial patterns, risks and potential drivers, and support prioritisation and targeting of interventions.
Strengthen surveillance methods and capabilities by developing indicators, clustering and risk-scoring approaches, and using automation, AI and other digital tools to improve early detection and productivity.
Translate insights into action by working with operational and technical stakeholders to address business needs and turn analytical findings into practical recommendations.
