Job summary

The MINDEF Singapore is seeking a space systems research analyst to support defence relations with foreign partners by analysing regional interest in space and regional space programme strategies.

You will monitor fast-moving developments in the space domain across commercial and military programmes, and organise and execute engagements with international partners. The role requires independent work, strong problem-solving abilities and clear communication skills.

Qualifications

• Education in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.
• Broad understanding of space system operations and international space policies.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.

What the role is:

You are responsible for supporting the research and analysis on space systems, and organising and executing of space domain defence relations with foreign partners.

What you will be working on:

• Analyse regional interest in space, regional space programme strategies, and large commercial space companies- Analyse regional space programmes to support defence relations with foreign partnersChallenge(s)- Monitoring fast-moving developments in the space domain while tracking fast-cycle updates across both commercial and military space programmes

What we are looking for:

• Education in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field- Broad understanding of space system operations, with knowledge of space systems and programmes and international Space policies- Ability to work independently- Good problem-solving and communication skills(Applicants with no experience may apply.)Appointment will be commensurate with your experience.Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
