Your Role at Sephora
As a Manager for Social & Community Marketing, you will shape and execute social media strategies for the region, design content programs and on‑brand experiences that drive consideration, and connect consumers, media and influencers to Sephora. You will report to the Senior Manager, Brand & Communications, overseeing our overarching social strategy across owned and earned channels, and working cross‑functionally with all departments to ensure strategy, message and materials are represented online in the most impactful way.
Key Responsibilities
- Observe the latest social developments and trends within the beauty industry and design brand/community social strategies to drive engagement and social share of voice for specific regions/countries within SEA & Oceania.
- Develop a growth strategy for our current influencer program (micro and nano), including market assessment, go‑to‑market strategy, platform‑specific strategy and operational model.
- Manage creator content across organic and paid social campaigns, partnering with Media and Legal teams to oversee content planning, delivery, boosting requirements, contracts and usage rights.
- Understand key social performance metrics and analytics, and drive sales/profitability for Sephora.
- Manage external agencies’ relationships for budget optimisation and delivery of on‑time aligned content calendar plans with influencers and brand ambassadors.
- Deliver on‑time aligned regional community toolkits for Sephora’s trend‑led marketing campaigns.
- Custodian of our unique Sephora brand codes and expressions through community toolkit deployment.
- Champion our customers, briefing content through the lens of our customers.
- Deliver on‑time post‑mortem reports providing comprehensive performance and analysis for all influencer and brand ambassador‑led initiatives.
- Analyse and report on Sephora’s impact and engagement metrics across owned & earned social platforms via influencer marketing, and innovate new ways to improve and scale ideas across markets.
- Act as main community contact for all brand partners, advising brands on how to win at Sephora from an influencer marketing POV to achieve mutually beneficial business objectives.
- Manage end‑to‑end influencer management, overseeing agency relationships, budget deployment, invoice processing and vendor payments.
- Lead reciprocal partnerships cross‐functionally in a highly matrixed organization.
- Employ a strategic approach to process; organise and divvy up work effectively.
- Demonstrate Sephora values of passion for client service, innovation, expertise, balance, respect for all, teamwork and initiative.
We’re Excited About You If You
- Have at least 5 years of professional experience in social media platforms and influencer marketing, preferably within retail or beauty.
- Have prior experience working in PR or events.
- Have a data‑driven mindset with the ability to analyse KPIs and translate performance data into actionable insights.
- Possess strong project management and planning skills, with the ability to conceive strategy and drive execution in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Be innovative and creative, continually improving commercial outcomes.
- Have experience managing and working within an allocated budget.
- Have experience working with cross‑functional partners or clients to meet business needs.
- Able to organise and manage multiple detail‑oriented projects and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to approach projects with a can‑do attitude and create processes where none exist.
- Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Have international exposure.
- Align the team with the mission and vision.
