Job summary

Staffhub Group in Singapore is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager for M&E to lead and coordinate electrical, ACMV, fire protection, plumbing and sanitary works on site. You will review drawings, identify variations and liaise with sub-contractors, main contractors and consultants.

The role requires a mechanical or electrical engineering degree, a plumber license, and 8–15 years of relevant experience depending on level.

Qualifications

• Plumber license is necessary for this post.
• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (PEB recognised).
• 8–10 years relevant experience for Manager; 10–15 years relevant experience for Senior Manager.
• Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project.
• Strong technical knowledge and site construction experience in M&E (Electrical, ACMV, Fire Protection, Plumbing & Sanitary).
• Effective communicator with leadership skills.
• Willing to work under tight work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Plan and check combined services drawings; identify variation works and submit detailed cost implications to QS Manager.
• Schedule, supervise and control sub-contractors to carry out works accurately and on time.
• Prepare and conduct M&E meetings.
• Identify drawing discrepancies and track construction progress & schedule.
• Onsite supervision and coordination with sub-contractors, main contractor and consultants.
• Manage manpower, equipment and resources.
• Prepare method statements, site inspections and quality checks.

• Able to schedule, supervise and control sub-contractors to carry out their works accurately and timely in accordance withthe contract drawings and specications.
• Prepare and conduct M&E meeting
• Identify drawing discrepancies andconstantly track construction progress & schedule
• Onsite supervision & coordination with sub-contractors, main contractor and consultants.
• Manpower, equipment and resource allocations
• Prepare method statement, site inspection and quality checks

Requirements

• Preferably with Plumber License is necessary for this postion.
• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (PEB recognised degree in mechanical or electrical engineering)
• Minimum with 8-10 years relevant experience forManager and10-15 years relevant experience for Senior Manager
• Well versed in MS office and MS Project
