Job summary

MINDEF in Singapore seeks a Safety System Auditor to conduct audits of safety systems and perform no-notice inspections across Army units, ensuring adherence to safety practices and regulations and identifying areas for improvement.

The role requires at least 1 year of investigation/inspection/audit experience, strong communication and writing skills, sharp observational ability, and the capacity to work independently, including odd hours on short notice. Appointment commensurate with experience.

What the role is:

You conduct Safety System Audits and No-notice Inspections (NNI) on Army Units while verifying compliance with safety practices and regulations.

• Conduct safety system audits
• Perform no-notice inspections
• Verify compliance during operations, training, maintenance work and daily routine work
• Support overseas exercisesChallenge(s)
• Accurately identifying areas for correction and improvement
• Focusing and working independently under pressure of time and space to efficiently conduct the audit
