Job summary

DYNAMIC HUMAN CAPITAL PTE. LTD. seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to oversee from concept to detailed design, ensuring technical quality and compliance with local regulations. You will supervise engineers, endorse submissions to authorities, and guide complex design decisions.

Role requires construction management and design experience, with proficiency in BIM, CFD and related software, and collaboration with contractors and external consultants.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Registered Professional Engineer with PEB Singapore or Specialized Professional Engineer
• 10+ years in the industry with construction management and design experience
• Conversant with engineering analysis, BIM, CFD tools and related software

Responsibilities

• Check and design mechanical works from concept to detailed design
• Provide QP supervisory works for projects
• Endorse authorities’ submissions, supervise & apply for certificate of completion as Professional Engineer (Mechanical)
• Ensure compliance with local codes and authority requirements
• Analyse technical issues and guide engineers with stakeholders
• Carry out project management including planning, financial management, and contract administration
• Coordinate design with contractors, subcontractors and external consultants

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the checking and design of mechanical works from concept to detailed design and provision of QP supervisory works for projects.
• Endorsement of the authorities’ submissions, supervision & apply for certificate of completion as Professional Engineer (Mechanical) for the projects.
• Conversant in local code and authority requirements, ensuring project compliance to the requirements.
• Able to perform analysis and guide engineers to analyse and provide technical advice and solutions when working with stakeholders
• Carryout project management, planning, financial management of project, contract administration, ensure key deadlines are met and team work together effectively
• Design management, coordination with contractors, subcontractors and external consultants

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or its equivalent
• Registered Professional Engineer with PEB Singapore/ Specialized Professional Engineer or more than 10 years in the industry
• Experience in both construction management and design
• Conversant in Engineering analysis design software, BIM software, CFD simulations tools and other mechanical/fire engineering software.
