Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology in Singapore is seeking a Materials Planner to manage materials planning and procurement for production. You will coordinate with Buyers, Operations and Warehouse to ensure on-time delivery and maintain data integrity in the system.

The role requires a degree in engineering/science or related field; 2–5 years of experience depending on qualification, preferably in manufacturing. Strong planning and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering/science/math/materials or industrial engineering required.
• No less than 2 years' experience for degree holders; 5+ years for diploma holders.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred; adept at paperwork and system updates.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule materials availability to drive production to meet delivery commitments.
• Manage 500–1000 items per project and coordinate with buyers, operations, and warehouse.
• Ensure data integrity; enter purchase and fabrication parts accurately in the system.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement contingency plans to assure on-time delivery.
• Renew, monitor, and translate forecast into material plans and coordinate with suppliers.
• Generate management reports and participate in production meetings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Parts maintenance checking before project kick in
• Manage 500-1000 items per projects
• Plan & schedule materials availability to drive production to meet customers delivery commits
• Co-ordinate with other departments including Buyer, Operations, Programme and Warehouse for on-time delivery
• Systems data maintenance and integrity, key in purchase parts and fabrication parts correctly.
• Identify the possible production bottlenecks and have contingencies plans
• Work with existing vendor on the completion of the new revision material or temporary change order.
• To renew, monitor and translate forecast into material plan and pull in & out with suppliers accordingly.
• Execute materials planning and purchase for production fulfillment
• Review report daily with purchasing dept.
• To coordinate with quality engineers of any non-conforming materials.
• Ensure on-time delivery of materials from suppliers
• Attend production meetings and any others for communication and update purpose
• Generate management report and other activities as assigned by Superior

Educational/Certification Requirement:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Science/ Mathematics/ Materials /Industrial Engineering
• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics /Mechatronics/Industrial Systems Engineering

Experience Requirement:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Science/ Mathematics/ Materials /Industrial Engineering At least 2 years working experience
• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics /Mechatronics/Industrial Systems Engineering with At least 5 years working experience
• Preferably in manufacturing environment
• No fear of paper works and system update
