Job summary

Alstern Technologies Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Facility Manager to lead maintenance teams across semi-conductor, industrial, and commercial premises. You will assist the director with business expansion and resources management, and ensure all maintenance aligns with schedules and SOPs.

The role requires at least a Diploma in Facility/Engineering and 4+ years in facility management with strong English communication, MS Office proficiency, and project oversight capabilities.

Qualifications

• Diploma in facility / Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of working experience in facility management and managerial roles.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and MS Project; strong report writing.

Responsibilities

• Lead facility maintenance teams and services across various sectors.
• Assist director in expanding the business operation and resource management.
• Ensure maintenance follows schedule and standards or SOP.
• Provide preventive/condition-based maintenance for HVAC, water systems, clean rooms, exhaust and related equipment.
• Be point of contact and provide prompt support to maintain system functionality.
• Lead technicians to meet safety, quality, and on-time delivery.
• Identify opportunities and ensure services meet specifications.
• Coordinate with internal/external partners to execute projects in compliance.
• Provide monthly maintenance forecast for assigned projects.
• Prepare technical and sales proposals and submissions.
• Any other duties as assigned and compliant with ISO/OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead facility maintenance teams and services in semi-conducting / industrial / commercial / hotel premises sectors.
• Assist director in expanding the business operation and the resources management of the facility management department.
• Ensure maintenance are carried out in accordance with schedule and coordinate with relevant parties to ensure servicing are carried out in accordance to standards or SOP.
• Provide preventive maintenance or condition base maintenance and improvement for the following system (ACMV system / Process Cooling system / Portable/non-portable water / Heat Pump and Boiler / Clean Room System / Process Exhaust and Vacuum / Compresses Air / Fire system / Natural Gas / diesel system).
• Be the point of contact and provide prompt support and maintain system functionality.
• Lead or guide technicians to execute maintenance requirement, ensuring safety, quality and on time delivery.
• Identify opportunities and ensure services are rendered to specification.
• Coordinate with internal or external partners to execute the projects in compliance.
• Provide monthly maintenance forecast for assigned projects.
• Preparation of technical / sales proposal and necessary submission
• Any other duties as assigned and comply to ISO / OSHA standards.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma in facility / Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 4 Year(s) of working experience in the facility management and managerial experienced are preferred.
• Proficient in MS Excels/words/PowerPoint/Project and report writing.
• Preferred skill sets: Self Driven, resourceful, problem-solving nature, project management and good conversational/writing skills in English.
