BYD (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on Manager for EV Charging & Infrastructure in Singapore.

This role drives business development, builds strategic partnerships, and coordinates charging-site deployments with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers. The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of relevant experience, strong commercial acumen, and fluency in English and Chinese to engage diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Business, Facilities Management, Project Management or a related discipline.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience, preferably in EV charging, e-mobility, automotive, transport, energy, utilities, electrical infrastructure or related industries.
• Experience in business development, infrastructure projects, operations, project management or commercial functions.
• Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder-management skills.
• Good understanding of infrastructure deployment; exposure to EPC, electrical infrastructure, charging systems or energy projects is advantageous.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on and comfortable working in a fast-growing environment.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive business development opportunities, key accounts and strategic partnerships for the EV charging business.
• Build and manage relationships with landlords, site owners, fleet operators, commercial partners and service providers.
• Identify and evaluate potential charging sites and new business opportunities.
• Coordinate charging-site deployment with internal teams, contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and quality delivery.
• Manage commercial proposals, tenders, negotiations and partnership agreements.
• Monitor network and business performance, including utilisation, uptime, revenue, costs and customer experience.
• Work closely with operations and technical teams to resolve site and network-related matters.
• Support regulatory, licensing, safety and operational compliance.
• Collaborate with BYD HQ and local teams on charging products, technology and network expansion.
