Job summary

MINDEF in Singapore is seeking a strategic IT professional to drive digitalisation through enterprise planning and transformation management. You will raise digital maturity across functional domains and ensure alignment with the organisation's strategy.

You will propose harmonised architectures, develop platform strategy, and oversee governance while engaging stakeholders to secure funding for strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field preferred.
• At least 2 years of IT development, project management, project delivery, or capabilities development roadmap planning preferred.
• Knowledge of IT systems capabilities and enterprise architecture frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Propose harmonised enterprise business, applications, data, and technology architectures.
• Research, develop, and maintain enterprise platform strategy and landscape to establish robust and scalable technology foundations.
• Manage the operational performance of enterprise platforms.

• Manage the operational performance of enterprise platforms

• Facilitate collaborative decision-making while maintaining architectural standards and best practices
• Plan and secure funding to support strategic digitalisation initiatives

What we are looking for:

• Education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is preferred
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in IT development, project management, project delivery, or capabilities development roadmap planning is preferred
• Knowledge of and conversant with the capabilities of IT systems and enterprise architecture frameworks
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive, analytical, and results-oriented with a strong customer focus
• Ability to work effectively as a team player
