Job summary

Ministry of Defence of Singapore is seeking a capability-driven Digitalisation Lead to guide enterprise planning and transformation at the organisation level. You will advance digital maturity across functional domains, ensuring strategic alignment throughout MINDEF/SAF.

The role requires work across architecture, funding, and governance, enabling collaboration with diverse stakeholders to deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field preferred.
• At least 2 years in IT development, project management, project delivery, or roadmap planning preferred.
• Knowledge of IT systems capabilities and enterprise architecture frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Propose harmonised enterprise business, applications, data, and technology architectures.
• Research, develop, and maintain enterprise platform strategy and landscape.
• Manage the operational performance of enterprise platforms.

What The Role Is

You will drive MINDEF/SAF digitalisation efforts through strategic planning and transformation management at the enterprise level, advancing digital maturity across all functional domains and ensuring strategic alignment throughout the organisation.

• Research, develop, and maintain enterprise platform strategy and landscape to establish robust and scalable technology foundations
• Manage the operational performance of enterprise platforms
• Manage enterprise architecture working groups and governance committees
• Facilitate collaborative decision-making while maintaining architectural standards and best practices
• Plan and secure funding to support strategic digitalisation initiatives

What We Are Looking For

• Education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is preferred
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in IT development, project management, project delivery, or capabilities development roadmap planning is preferred
• Knowledge of and conversant with the capabilities of IT systems and enterprise architecture frameworks
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive, analytical, and results-oriented with a strong customer focus
• Ability to work effectively as a team player
