Job summary

Info-communications Media Development Authority (IMDA) invites applications for a role within the Digital Leaders Programme Office in the Digital Transformation Cluster.   • Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation and presentation skills.

Job description

What the role is:

This role sits within the Digital Transformation Cluster, under the Enterprise Transformation & Innovation Group (ETIG) at IMDA. ETIG leads digital transformation and fosters innovation ecosystems across Singapore's tech landscape. The Group works closely with public and private sectors to accelerate technology adoption, support high-growth companies, and establish Singapore as a global innovation hub. Focusing on enterprise transformation, strategic partnerships, and technology commercialisation, the Group ensures that Singapore remains competitive in the digital economy.

The Digital Transformation Cluster drives digital transformation projects across major economic sectors, tackling complex business-technology problems that span business model transformation, innovative technology applications and regulatory considerations. Current areas of focus include Artificial Intelligence (AI), Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR), Digital Twin and Extended Reality.

The Digital Leaders Programme Office (DLPO) is part of this cluster and works closely with enterprises across industries to support and develop them into Digital Leaders.

What you will be working on:

As part of DLPO, you will:

  • Identify and engage local enterprises from different sectors with ambition and potential to grow as Digital Leaders in Singapore. Understand their business strategies, transformation ambitions and organisational challenges to chart digital roadmaps aligned to their business needs, as well as mobilise relevant resources and support in IMDA to facilitate execution of the digital roadmaps.
  • Develop and implement interventions such as capability-building initiatives, tech discovery, advisory engagements and peer-learning platforms with partners that help companies build tech competencies and market knowledge to facilitate on-going digital innovation and development efforts.
  • Drive efforts to create a vibrant Digital Leaders business community in Singapore. Manage an ecosystem of partners such as other government agencies, industry associations, academies, tech companies and consultants to ensure success of the Digital Leaders initiative.
  • Administer and deliver the digital initiatives, including managing programme targets, grants and budgets. Track transformation outcomes and business impact across the enterprise portfolio, recommending enhancements or new interventions where necessary.
What we are looking for:
  • Suitable educational qualification in related field such as Marketing, Information Technology, Business Technology, or related discipline with at least 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in enterprise account management, digital transformation, or technology industry
  • Possess business acumen and ability to understand business models, workflows and operational challenges and translate them into technology-enabled transformation opportunities.
  • Working knowledge of AI, data and emerging technologies, with the ability to discuss use cases and business applications.
  • Proven to be an analytical, methodical, process oriented, organised, and proactive self-starter; Able to function with ambiguity, visualise outcomes and provide clarity for the stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, negotiation, and presentation skills for engaging multiple stakeholders
