APSN is seeking a proactive Alumni Engagement Coordinator to develop outreach initiatives and connect alumni to APSN programmes and enrolment opportunities.

Responsibilities include planning alumni events, building partnerships with employers and volunteers, and coordinating support with professionals to facilitate training, job placement and financial assistance schemes. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Degree in any discipline is required; counselling qualification preferred for related field.
  • Experience in alumni engagement, community services, or event management.
  • Experience in developing and managing relationships with partners, volunteers, employers and external stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills to engage diverse groups.

  • Develop and manage outreach initiatives to engage APSN alumni and connect them to programmes, services and enrolment opportunities.
  • Plan, coordinate and execute alumni events with partners, ensuring objectives are met.
  • Develop and manage relationships with partners, job coaches, employers and volunteers for alumni opportunities.
  • Coordinate alumni support and case management with Allied Professionals and Job Coaches, including training, job placement and financial assistance schemes.
  • Coordinate marketing, branding and communications of alumni events with HQ CP Team to enhance outreach and participation.
  • Manage programme budgets and resources, monitor expenditure, and ensure successful implementation and continuous improvement of alumni programmes.

Job description

  • Develop and manage outreach initiatives to engage APSN alumni and connect them to relevant APSN programmes, services, and Centre enrolment opportunities.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute alumni events and activities with partners, ensuring that objectives and desired outcomes are achieved.
  • Develop and manage relationships with professional partners, allied professionals, job coaches, employers, and volunteers to create training, employment, and engagement opportunities for alumni.
  • Coordinate alumni support and case management with Allied Professionals and Job Coaches, including facilitating training, job placement, and the Financial Assistance Scheme.
  • Coordinate the marketing, branding, and communications of alumni events and activities with the HQ Corporate Planning (CP) Team to enhance outreach and participation.
  • Manage programme budgets and resources effectively, monitor expenditure, and ensure the successful implementation, reporting, and continuous improvement of alumni programmes and activities.
Job Requirements:
  • Degree in any discipline, a qualification in Counselling or a related field would be preferred.
  • Experience in alumni engagement, community services, programme/event management, stakeholder engagement, or a related field. Experience in the Special Educational Needs sector would be an advantage.
  • Experience in developing and managing relationships with partners, volunteers, employers, allied professionals, and other external stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups.
  • Passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of others, proactive, resourceful, creative, and able to take initiative.
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with good organisational, problem-solving, and project management skills.
