Job summary

TIRUPPU TEXTILES MANUFACTURING PRIVATE LIMITED in Singapore seeks an experienced Production & Operations leader to oversee planning, scheduling, and resource allocation on the shop floor. The role focuses on lean improvements, quality and safety compliance, and team leadership on site.

The candidate will manage budgets, coordinate with procurement/logistics, and drive efficient material flow while maintaining high standards of output.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute production schedules based on customer demand, capacity, and material availability.
• Deploy machines, raw materials, and manpower effectively to minimize bottlenecks.
• Drive continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Enforce quality management systems to limit defects and rework.
• Maintain adherence to local workplace safety and health (WSH) regulations and occupational health standards.
• Coordinate internal, customer, and regulatory inspections.
• Lead supervisors, engineers, and line operators through coaching, performance reviews, and shift scheduling.
• Build technical competencies and safety awareness across the floor.
• Monitor attendance, turnover, overtime, and daily deployment.
• Manage departmental operational, overhead, and capital budgets.
• Oversee preventive maintenance plans and machine readiness to prevent downtime.
• Liaise with procurement and logistics teams to track inventory and raw material flow.

• Labor Management: Monitor attendance, turnover, overtime, and daily deployment.

Budgeting & Asset Management
