Overview

The Management Trainee (Finance) will undergo a structured training program to gain exposure to different areas within the Finance function. The role is designed to develop future finance leaders by providing hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities to contribute to financial planning, reporting, and analysis.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing financial reports, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Participate in external & internal audits, compliance checks, and risk assessments & GST filling & report.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions.
  • Assist in monitoring cash flow, accounts payable, and receivable processes.
  • Work on ad-hoc projects such as cost optimization, investment analysis, and process improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Operations, HR) to understand the financial impact of business activities.
  • Gain exposure across finance functions, including:
  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
  • Treasury & Cash Management
  • Taxation & Compliance
  • Internal Audit & Risk Management
  • Management & Statutory Reporting
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
  • Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of work experience are welcome.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling; knowledge of accounting software is a plus.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
