Job summary

RYAN'S GROCERY (GWC) PTE. LTD. in Singapore invites applications for a Retail Supervisor/Operations role.

You will support day-to-day grocery and store operations, assist the Operations Manager with staff, and deliver excellent customer service with product recommendations. The role covers inventory, sales monitoring, promotions, and collaboration with marketing and other departments. Fresh graduates or those with retail or customer-service experience are welcome; six-day work weeks including

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Business, Retail Management, Hospitality, F&B or related discipline would be advantageous.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with retail/F&B/customer-service experience are welcomed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, proactive and willing-to-learn attitude.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-oriented and able to work well with a team.
• Willing to work 6 days per week, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Learn and support day-to-day grocery/retail store operations.
• Assist the Operations Manager in managing store activities and staff.
• Provide high-quality customer service and product recommendations.
• Monitor sales performance, promotions and store targets.
• Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, ordering and receiving of goods.
• Monitor product expiry dates, wastage and stock accuracy.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments on stock requirements.
• Learn cashiering, merchandising, receiving and other retail functions.
• Assist with staff scheduling, training and daily manpower coordination.
• Handle customer feedback and resolve operational issues.
• Support e-commerce/online order fulfilment when required.
• Work closely with departments such as butcher y, kitchen, logistics and retail.
• Work closely with the Marketing team to support and execute promotional campaigns, product launches, in-store activities and other marketing initiatives as required.
• Take on ad-hoc projects and responsibilities assigned by management.
• Progressively take on greater responsibility with the goal of moving into a Retail Supervisor / Operations/ Store Management position.
