Job summary

HAKKA YU PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a friendly service associate to set up tables with cutlery, cupware and glassware, replace soiled items and prepare the dining area for the next guests.

You will take and serve orders, operate the POS for beverage orders, and ensure accuracy with order tickets while maintaining hygiene and safety standards.

We value willingness to work 5.5 days per week, including weekends and public holidays, with training provided; Mandarin liaison is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Liaison with Mandarin speaking associates advantageous.
• No prior experience required; training will be provided.
• Willing to work 5.5 days per week.
• Able to work on public holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Set up cutlery, crockery and glassware on table and replace soiled items to prepare the table.
• Serve food and beverages to ensure orders match the ticket to the correct tables.
• Operate POS systems when managing beverage orders.
• Provide go-the-extra-mile service to create a positive customer experience.
• Maintain hygiene, safety and standards according to the organisation’s policies.
• Assist in opening, operating and closing shifts and handle daily tasks per staff roster.
• Suggest improvements within the work area.

• Serve food and beverages to ensure all dishes match the order ticket to the corresponding tables


• Operate Point of Sales (POS) Systems when managing beverage order


• Provide go-the-extra-mile service to create a positive customer experience


• Maintain hygiene, safety, and standards, follow the organization’s personal, food and beverage hygiene standards


• Assist in opening, operating, and closing of shifts and execute daily operational tasks according to staff roster


• Suggest areas and execute continuous improvement activities within work area

Requirements:

• Capable to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates will be advantage


• With or without relevant experience are welcome (training will be provided)


• Willing to work 5.5days per week


• Willing to work on Public Holiday and weekends
